Folklore ensemble DÚBRAVA is a youth folklore ensemble
who operates at Assembly Hall in Prešov. The group was
founded in 1979 and this year will celebrate its 25th
anniversary.
The ensemble belongs to outstanding amateur Slovak
folklore groups. It has more than 50 members from 15
to 30 years of age, in dance and music group and in a
choir.
The ensemble´s repertoir consists of songs and dances,
music and customs and folk traditions especially from
east Slovakia, mainly from Šariš and Zemplín regions.
We annually take part in important folklore events over
the Slovakia and we also gained good reputation where
were we awarded various prices, e.g. Netherlands,
Turkey, Hungary, Portugal, France, Czech Republic,
Germany, Luxembourg, Israel, Egypt, Italy, Cyprus, UAE.
